You will need:
1. A scale. If you don't already have a Teamworks AMS compatible Rice Lake Bluetooth Scale, click here.
2. A Teamworks AMS account and a package that includes the Rice Lake Scale Integration.
3. The proper event form set up with bluetooth fields. Your Teamworks AMS contact can help with this part.
4. An account to your AMS site and an Ipad with the Teamworks AMS App installed.
5. Now you are ready to connect your scale to the AMS App and test the workflow
Frequently asked Questions
Is my scale bluetooth enabled? The model number on the manual in the package does not include "BLE".
PRT has shipped hundreds of bluetooth scales and we have not had a single one delivered incorrectly. Since the bluetooth and non-bluetooth versions of the scales are the exact same, except for the bluetooth, there is not always a separate manual included for the bluetooth scale. This is confusing at first but we always recommend testing with the Teamworks AMS App to double check the scale functionality.
How do I connect to the Bluetooth signal from the scale?
This must be done from the settings on the Teamworks AMS App. You cannot connect to the scale from the Ipad Bluetooth Settings.
The Bluetooth signal is only initiated when you step on the scale. In order to test the scale and the bluetooth functionality, open the AMS App and step on the scale.
